In our world of mass-made monotony, we are surprised, delighted, inspired to stumble across a multi-platform artist like Martyn Thompson with a strong point of view.

His works now include home fabrics  for upholstery and other applications.

This upholstery fabric is reminiscent of a watercolor or expressionist painting.

They also include wall murals such as this one for Future Perfect. 

Where as bright light neutral palettes have become the norm, Martyn tempts our imaginations and senses with dark moody palettes.  His work transports us to place where we imagine restful naps are followed by warm beverages and creative thought and expression.  He’s our inspiration of the week!
